There’s never been a better time to join Usborne Books & More! JOIN TODAY.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!! Soooo…. you’re interested in joining Usborne Books & More, right?! *SO* exciting! Since you’re here, I figure I should introduce myself! I’m Barbara Shobe, a Consultant and Educational Services Representative with Usborne Books & More! Based in Vacaville, California, and love that I have a growing team across the country! My family and I fell in love with Usborne books almost 6 months ago and it’s been a whirlwind of an adventure!

A little about me… I’m a stay at home mom who also home schools my daughter. I have been wanting something that’s just for me, and needing to figure out how to make a little money without taking time away from my kiddos and amazing husband.

One night I got a message from my sister-in-law asking if I would like to go to an Usborne Books party on Facebook. I had heard of Usborne because they made some of the home school curriculum I use for my daughter. I said yes, but didn’t intend to purchase. (HAHAHAHA). Next thing I know, I’m buying a few books, then I’m hosting my own party, then I joined before my party even happened and I got all the commission on my own party!

Within 3 months, I had used that commission to pay my way to England for my 40th birthday, and when I returned I was ready to go full steam ahead into being an Educational Services Representative for schools and libraries. This has been a total game-changer for me, I am now looking at building up my team because my business is too big for me! And oddly enough, Usborne helped me to realize that while I am thrilled that I took the chance to home school, it’s just not for me. Next year I will be putting both my kids into public school to give them even more social skills and me a break from them so I can grow this business!

In addition to my book biz, I am also a seamstress and love going to historical balls to be twirled.  I love being a momma to two crazy monkeys – Lizzie (5) and Levi (4). My husband, Nathan, and I love weekend adventures with our babies, having friends over for dinner, and wine.
